Watershed Band provides a mix of traditional tunes and dances from across the UK. We are based in the historic market town of Faversham, Kent, and are happy to travel within Kent area for your event.

Not too sure what a Barn Dance is? Well, the dictionary says: " it's a party with country dancing held in a barn ". In Scotland and Ireland it's a Ceilidh, in America it might be called a Hoedown. Whatever the term, the music is lively and the dances are fun!

A Barn Dance can appeal to people of all ages - children, teenagers and adults alike - and, because "no previous experience is necessary", a good time can be had by all. Our 'Caller' explains each dance simply (and prompts during the dance if needed!) and the dances are carefully selected to suit the energy and experience of the dancers. We would be happy to hear from you to discuss your event, but please book early to avoid disappointment!
